gathering

went to halo cafe...

...on merdeka night.

rewind.

afternoon reached MV at 4 plus and met up with yeona, qian jie, qian jie's mommy (aunty wai ling) and qian jie's lil sis.

soon after, jeffrey came with his lady friend (ooo...) and shaun came and xiao tu came and lastly yin choy came at 7.

so basically what we did at MV was walked, walked, sat, and then walked summore. xD
...
anyway... we went to halo cafe at connaught to give alan a surprise (which failed miserably) as he was singing there that night. he already knew that some Lws people will be going but he thought that no usaka members were going (thanks to the mischievous yeona).

we reached there early about 7.45 and the usaka people namely moi, shaun, qian jie and his family (hahaha!) had to wait in the car to surprise alan.

however, yeona told us that alan will only be singing at 9 so she asked us to wait inside instead of waiting in the car like a bunch of shiteous people up to no good.

we went in, sat for a while, decided that the menu wasn't our taste (read: no $ ler... ><), and went outside to search for better (affordable) food.

ALAS!!!

we walked out of halo pun didn't realize that alan was just to our left. oh bugger. spoil the surprise only.

*smacks head HARD*

worse still, when we asked him whether he was touched that usaka members came all the way to support him his answer was bloody disappointing lo... ><

...

anyway, we still went out to have dinner and then only went back to halo by 9. just in time.

~alan VERY sayang this kid haha. pulled him on stage to sing "bei pan" by gary chao. has a good voice. some say he looks and sounds a bit like nicky lee.


~xing er has a great voice too. she has lots of space for improvement. she sang "ni guang" by sun yan zi. she dressed like a diva that night heehee.



~it was eng kee's birthday when the clock struck 12!!! (sorry didn't get a better picture haha) it's tiramisu cake from secret recipe which we bought at MV. we only realized when we reached there, that the row of shoplots opposite halo, is a secret recipe as well. zadou. -.-'




~urgh.
