a NiGhT to rEmeMbeR

my performance at sungei wang just now sucked!!! BIG TIME!!! but so what? who cares??? what followed up was just amazing.

actually the performance by students of Lws is sort of like an opening act. the "concert" is held in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of sungei wang plaza. and ofcourse, to celebrate mid autumn festival as well.

the stars of the night include Buddy ^^, vic teo (of malaysian idol 1), danny one, john huang jun yuan (of superstar 2--i dunno how to spell his name hoho...) and i dunno who else already. cuz they so "dai pai" just sit in the tent dowanna come out. ceh.

teacher put me in charge of the backstage. passing mics around and gathering all the performers and stuff. sad to say, i think i did a really lousy job cuz everything was so chaotic :(

was feeling a little down cuz everything was like just not right from the start of the show, but my friends came up to me and said that it didn't matter cuz we were all there just to have fun. so, my mood lightened up quite a bit :)

after the performance we didn't even stay to watch the performance of the hidung tinggi punya people hoho... we went back to Lws to P-A-R-T-A-Y!!!!!!!!!! yoohoo!!!!!

then celebrate the birthday of september babies...

~the birthday cake. got 12 animals of the chinese zodiac. can see them? heehee...

then it was MAKAN TIME!!! haha... got alot of food la actually. but i was (slightly) more interested in what followed up.

after that we had the DVD viewing session. it is of the concert on 824. AWESOME!! so pro!!! but... i'm f*cking fat in it so i think the next time i watch my DVD i'll skip my part hoho!!! xD

so many feelings rushed inside of me. scenes of before and after the concert flashed in of my head. all the hardwork and effort we put, all the sweat, blood, and tears we shed... AIH......

watching the whole concert on TV really brings back so many memories... sweet and bitter... i cherish them all... by the end of it we were cheering like mad and singing along to the theme song. so happy to see that togetherness hasn't faded one bit, and the spirit of music still lies in each and everyone of us.

and then teacher announced who made it to the next round of being one step closer to be an artiste of EMI Capitol.



~all the SRP people who auditioned in singapore and those who were selected have their heads circled red lol xD




~wei kuan... ZI LIAN KUANG (narcissistic person)... has one hell of a voice... but should stop looking at the mirror SO often la dude...







~these two made usaka proud!!!!!! wei kuan and jacky... apparently they were so good during audition that the judges selected them immediately after watching them perform.





~seow mei and wei kuan... (stolen from wei kuan's friendster cuz i don't have seow mei's picture hahaha...) seow mei is the only ONE out of the 12 participants who isn't a student at Lws. she's actually a teacher there!!!




~wen jun a.k.a. alex a.k.a. star rapper during concert... from hip hop group... can recall? stolen from wei kuan again xD




~my sai lou!!!!!! so proud of him!!!!! when teacher announced that the two usakas got in that time i was happy for them... but when teacher announced keng soon's name... tears welled up in my eyes.. omg so gan dung... so SO happy for him... sai lou... stopped crying already or not? still need me to hug you? ;) JIA YOU JIA YOU JIA YOU!!! :D

if i'm not mistaken i think she's from china...

and she's a good composer as well.

cuz in the "My Way My Song" song composing competition, she got best performance award, best song-writing award, and was second runner up for the competition.
