Curse. Broken.

can't stop sighing don't know why haha. one on hand, I'm glad that it's finally over. after 3 years in LWS -turned-EMA. on the other hand, I think I'm really gonna miss all the great experiences I had there! *sniff sniff*

it was the most RUSHED (in a way) and UNPREPARED show we've ever put on. we DID practise like mad for the past week but still it was somehow lacking something, what I can't tell. anyway, the title of pre-graduation exam/show is:

why I hear you say? well, supposedly people who reaches Level 2 Term 4 have difficulty in graduating. they become lazy, occupied, drag things, delay, postpone, and end up NOT graduating. yh had this fear initially. but we PROMISED him that that wouldn't happen to us. and on this fateful day, we fulfill our promise :)

today's Media Planning paper was dope man. can't believe i'm actually counting on my calculation now rather than my writing skills. seriously could've done better. but 有早知就没乞儿. so, what's done is done.

went to EMA for music practice. i enjoyed my month long break from music actually. it was beginning to be too much of a chore rather than enjoyment. taking a breather was good. but during our jamming session today, i had a great time. didn't know i miss it. and i'm gonna miss it real bad when i graduate next sunday :(

exam. movie. my tummy feels weird.

first paper today. International Advertising. not really satisfied with this paper, so all i can do now is work harder for the next one. USH!! (ya rite pfft)


lately, i don't feel intrigued to watch any movie. seems like there isn't any movie out there that can capture my attention. still, we went to catch a movie at the curve haha.

yeah yeah Sienna Miller's hot in here. with her blooming bosoms and her sleek dark hair, she's ought to drive more man crazy compared to Scarlett and Karolína Kurková.

i think Lee Byung-Hun as Storm Shadow is YUMMZZZ!!! he damn yeng leh! haha! woooo his abs :p i like that Brendan Fraser made a cameo too. missed him since Journey to the Center of the Earth haha. what else.. the storyline is predictable, and the CG looked fake from beginning to end (at least they are consistent haha), acting chops... meh.

okay la the movie. but i couldn't really enjoy it. was feeling really uncomfortable as throughout the entire movie i was feeling super pukey and had a headache and my shoulders were like on strike or something @@

after the movie we went to teh tarik place to have a hot cuppa. since i hardly ate anything during lunch, i ordered mee rebus as well. strangely enough, the waiter said he had to ask his boss whether i can eat the mee rebus or not. wtf? suspicious. hmmm...

when the food finally came, DAMN did it look weird and no i didn't take any pictures of it (dang i should have). it looked so... YUCK!! i tested the sauce. it tasted weird. as in, WEIRD. sourish? i asked him (wmk, not the waiter) to test. he tested twice, and asked the waiter to come. i told him it tasted weird and is sourish. he didn't seem to understand what i was trying to say, so wmk hollered the waitress.

after much debate, they said they won't charge me for that (you charge me and see la you will DIE) and asked if i wanted to switch to something else. as i was really hungry, i ordered mee goreng (which turned out to be fine).

FUNNY PART IS, when i told my original waiter that the mee rebus is sourish, he had the audacity to say that some people like it some people don't. WTF????

meng meng the kuah busuk already chao suen jor summore you dare to serve customers and say this kinda lan jiao hua?? seriously wtf lo.

i reckon i will not go there ever again.

finally, my EMA Level 2 Term 2 composing class performance based exam is OVAH!!! weeks and weeks of practising and hard work paid off! although preparations for this exam wasn't as thorough as last term's, we still did our thing and i believe the crowd had a great time too!

we wanted to create a party feel and a relaxed atmosphere so we set up 3 tables with chairs surrounding them and 2 plates of nacho chips and few cups of orange juice on each table.

the show started with Shin Hwa's latin song Matador. it was okay i guess but the beat wasn't tight so after her song i turned the volume up. next was Xiu Ting's solo When You Say Xiu Ting At All. we named that song for her because it reminded us of Ronan Keating's When You Say Nothing At All xD

after that was Hong Yun's latin song Ballroom Dancing. Boy was he (acting) suave and all!!! xD then it was my turn for my solo Shu Chyi To Apologize [inspired by Apologize] ;p

time for a break and we played our commercial songs.

i'm having a cold. *sniff*

first subject down. four more to go. CE was pretty good. i would kill myself if i didn't get an A. LOL. somehow i think i might have strayed a bit away from the topic (essay part), but what the heck, it's over. focus on the next avalanche. whew.

after exam today, was driving home and i turned on the radio to 98.8. was surprised to hear a familiar song. it's danny one's latest single freshly dropped yesterday (if i'm not mistaken) called ["一起祷告" - let's pray together]. it's about saving the environment and raising the awareness on the environment jong ji something to do with the environment la. 6 students of Lws (me included) recorded background vocals for this song. so check it out! try to spot me (well, my voice, actually. LOL) if you can! ;p i think it would be a little difficult though. if you want to you can spot me in another song! HAHA! it's kit(formerly of Buddy)'s single ["好听的歌" - nice song]. you can listen to it on AiFM. i would be the one doing the S.H.E.'s tongue twister from "zhong guo hua". it was hell for me to do that but i did it! AHAHA!

aisehman. my new bed has arrived finally. my back is really aching from all the sleeping on the couch for the past few nights. but i hate my new bed. it's so small. I WANT MY QUEEN SIZE BED BACK!!!!! T.T on the other hand, my room's really spacious now and i actually can feel that there's so much more air to breathe ahaha xD

i miss youtubing on tvxq... i haven't done that for a whole ..... ..... ..... 24 hours! wakaka... gonna go do that now wahaha! *skips away happily... whee!!!*

YAYZZZ!!!! done and DONE!!! woohoo!!! i'm so proud of my classmates and myself!!! i believe we put up an amazing show!!! :D

after weeks and weeks and weeks of hard work practising, it has finally came down to this day.

Programme Rundown:

yea... we really practised our asses off for this show and i think i've influenced them to think of this show as not our exam, but as a performance. we came out with this title "FOLKS, CHECK IT OUT" because this term we're doing folk song and hip-hop/R&B song. geddit??? xD i came up with title!!! and made the poster!!! programme rundown also my idea!!! *nose high*

chincha... alot of the things and ideas for this show are my brainchild and i'm really REALLY proud of myself for stepping outside the frame and really squeeze my creative juices out.

from the start, we rapped our introduction accompanied with a really cool hip-hop mix by hong yun. (can you imagine TSC rapping?? xD) my first song, ESCAPE, is the hip-hop/R&B song. i was really excited to perform but i really don't understand why i was shaking SO badly. so i sang louder to get rid of the quiver in my voice and played harder to get rid of the trembling of my hands. then my legs started shaking bady as well @@ i was like, *thinks to self* oh man, not now not NOW!!! but anyway, i'm very satisfied with how it turned out. it's not your typical kinda hip-hop/R&B song. cewah.... xD i mean, arrangement wise, it was really darn simple. without bass and drums. can you believe it??? teacher yen hue suggested to me to experiment since the 3 other songs by my classmates had drums and bass it them. so, it was a high risk to take but i think we brought out the rawness of it and the background vocal was good as well. tee-hee!

as for my second song, FANTASY, the supposedly folk song (i didn't really think that the song had the essence of folk in it xD), i had my good friend jam-angeline to do some acting for me. problem is, she's just such a drama queen! her acting was so good till everybody focused on her and not on me haha xD plan backfired LOL. i was like, really submerging myself into the song and really feeling it, pouring my soul into it... (okay okay exaggerating kakaka) and just looked up to see the audience, but all their eyes were on ange. i was like what the..? xD anyway, i really did my best on that one too.

we took a bow, and prepared ourselves to receive feedbacks and comments. thank god there were people who liked my songs hoho! both equally. yay.... ^^ this makes TSC a really happy girl heehee! i was very glad to hear teacher yin yin say our show was ichiban woohoo way to go!!! we really really really prepared alot for this show, practised twice a week, perfected everything, guided each other, gave each other constructive criticism, cuz our main focus wasn't to be the star of the show, but rather display what our amazing teamwork can produce. we tried our best to complement each other... in short, we really did work hard and i'm glad our effort paid off. not only that, we even thought alot about how to make the show interesting and came up with storylines (my idead again buahaha), up to the stage setting, the sound effects... fuiyo. you chinca wouldn't believe how much work it is.

...BACK TO ME! haha. received quite good feedbacks i would say. someone said my folk song was good in the beginning and the end but somewhere in the middle i somehow wandered off..? and that ange shouldn't have walked (act) so much during my song haha. but it's okay. someone said it really had the fantasy feel (was it sheer luck that i named my song appropriately? xD). and teacher yin yin said that our songs weren't really folk songs, but if she had to choose one song that she could relate folk to, it would be mine. yeehaa! ;p

as for the hip-hop/R&B song, there were people who liked it too but as for now i really can't recall the comments that they gave me haha! mianhamnida!!!

but it was really weird when my classmates and i had a little meeting with teacher yen hue to review our performance. he had comments for everybody but at last when it was my turn, he seriously didn't say anything at all lo. he was just like, "shu chyi ar, ok lo." and i was like looking at him with a blur face. i dunno whether to be happy or sad about it. yea he patted our shoulders, but i was really looking forward to his comments haha. teacher yen hue, if you're by any chance reading this, why no comments for me ar?! xD

after that, reality sank in. it was over. my level 2 term 1 exam is finally over. i heaved a great big sigh and all the fatigue, tiredness and whatever else words that is synonymous to keletihan sank in as well. just had a sudden rush of feeling like all my energy has been sucked out of me. really felt damn worn out. either we have been practising too hard and i finally poured out my all into this exam, or watching TVXQ on youtube till 2, 3 or sometimes 5am for the past week has finally taken its toll on me LOL.

okay okay. sorry for the long post. my saliva also almost dry already haha. thank you to ida, connie, jason, angeline, and also jian for helping out, thank you to teacher yen hue who somehow or rather had something to do with bringing me out from the drought of song composing i was in, and thank you to shin hwa, xiu ting and hong yun for making this performance a success! although it is my first time collaborating with you guys, but we had such great chemistry and fireworks (kay i dunno what i'm talking about, i'm tired and delusional), and did such a wonderful job together today. i'm sure our next performance won't lose out to this one! isshoni ganbarimasu!
