Lil chick kept pestering my parents to bring her to Fraser's Hill since the only time she has ever been there was while she was still in my mom's womb haha. So since she had no school as it's the PMR examinations period, we went on to fulfill her wish.
9am+, we went to have breki and embarked on our journey. It started to rain heavily all the way there but it didn't dampen our spirit. We were determined to get there. At about noon, we reached the first gate, but we were only allowed to go up at 1pm since it's a single lane. Had a cup of hot milo which tasted like cardboard -.= and hung out awhile before going up at 1.
Finally, we reached the town centre. Took a map from the information centre and had lunch nearby. Surprising how a tiny and modest eatery can cook up a storm. Simple yet delicious, savouring the piping hot meal and with our faces caressed by the cool, crisp air was a delightful experience.
We drove around, and parked the car and strolled. Gosh it was really relaxing to walk against the breeze, can pretend that I'm a supermodel strutting my stuff down the hill haha! (Don't puke, just kidding)
Walked all the way uphill only to find the place deserted -.= The flower nursery which mom really wanted to visit was closed. And there wasn't a single soul (besides the person in charge) at the boating area.
The eerily quiet place somehow exuded
a sense of calmness though
The spooky yet captivating waters..
Feeling disgruntled, mom further looked at the signboards and map again. Indeed, there was another flower nursery nearby. Maybe it's the fresh air, but the flowers up in Fraser's Hill are so beautiful! The colours are extra sharp and popping!
(NOTE: Not all the flowers are from the nursery. These pictures are taken from all around Fraser's Hill.)

FLOWER POWER
Why aren't they facing the sun? Hmm...
Bugged mom and we bought this home! :D
Low maintenance and when you rub it and smell
your hands, there's a fresh lemony smell!
These purple ones are gorgeous but don't think
it'll be able to withstand the climate back home :(
Please excuse my stubby fingers.
Aren't they all just pretty?! I know some people will feel bored but it's an enjoyment really! Took it after mom I guess. If you are into exciting stuff and activities all day long, don't come here. Haha!
This place is a far cry from 16 years ago when my entire family last came to Fraser's Hill (sans lil chick). The government has spent tonnes of money on developing this place into a tourist destination, but somehow, the crowd aren't flocking over here. So it's becoming somewhat of a dead town.. Or maybe it's just 'cause we visited this place on a weekday xD
Anyway, 16 years ago, when it was quite happening (harhar), there was this pony ride and my parents urged me to ride it. BEING ONLY 5, I was intimidated by the pony's neigh :-S So my dad rode a horse instead and took me along with him :)
This time round, no longer afraid of the horse (no ponies already u_u), we went to the same place and rode the damn horse!
That's dad taking a pic of lil chick riding the horse
